1967 FORD MUSTANG
This 1967 Mustang was my very first car I ever built. At 19 years old in year 2000 I fell in love with the mustang and I had to find one. I didn’t have much money so I had to save up money for parts that I needed and tried to restore and reuse everything that I could.
Back in 2000 there was no youtube and parts were hard to come by, everything had to be learned through magazines and asking different shops how things are done, other mustang people that I met were also happy to help with some advice here and there. I knew this would be a long project, but I really fell in love with this car and it didn’t bother me how long it would take me to build it.
Since I didn’t know much about cars, this was the easier car to learn on, they are simply made and there is no computers or any electronics to deal with, it’s a simple mechanical car. Everything mechanical that I removed I tried taking pictures so I can later remember how it all goes, cars these days are way more complicated and taking pictures of everything was a good habit I learned to help me with any project. It took me about 7 years to “almost” finish this project. I was not fully finished with it, maybe around 95% complete and then I had someone interested in buying the car, this person lived in FL and then we later became good friends, what he did it shipped to the Europe and resold it there. To this day my first project ever, is still driving around in Europe somewhere, Turkey or Germany, It was spotter not too long ago by one of my followers. I was very happy to see it still driving on the streets and someone is still enjoying it.
